Mr. Lalchand Rajput is the Vice-President PR & Sports with Shapoorji Pallonji Limited and represents S.P. Sports Club at the Mumbai Cricket Association. He was the coach of Indian Cricket Team from September 2007 to March 2008. Under his supervision during this time India won T20 World Cup in 2007 in South Africa. He was also a part of the Indian Team as a coach when Team won the first C.B. Series in Australia.

He is currently the Head Coach of the specialized batting academy of the BCCI. Lalchand Sitaram Rajput born on December 18, 1961 in Mumbai, Maharashtra is a former Indian cricketer who played in two Tests and four ODIs from 1985 to 1987. Graduate in Arts from Ruia College, he also holds a degree of Masters in Marketing Management from the University of Mumbai. .

Lalchand Rajput was assigned the task as a Cricket Manager of Indian Cricket Team for a  period of 7 months (September 2007 - March 2008). He has been actively involved in cricket administration over the past several years. He also has held positions with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) as Joint Honorary Secretary from 2004 to 2007 and again in 2009-10 and 2010-11.
